Experience of Hunting "The Bob"
A hunt in the Bob Marshall is truly an experience you will never forget. Our areas are some of the most beautiful places left on the earth. There will be no phones ringing, no fax machines buzzing, no traffic, and no smog. You will lose yourself in the quiet of the wilderness. Enjoy the thrill of riding out early in the morning with great anticipation of a good day's hunt. With a touch of luck you will experience the adrenaline rush of getting on a bull or a nice mule buck. If a bull or a buck is bagged you will feel the pride of a well-earned reward.
Camp Camaraderie is something to be treasured as well. Some of our closest friends are guests (summer and hunting) who have been on a trip with us. Our guides, packers, and cooks, though rugged westerners, are friendly and accommodating to all. We don't wait on people hand and foot, but we do consider you our guests and treat you as such.

We take pride in the fact that 75% of our client base is repeat guests or direct referrals from those who have joined us on a trip. We have hunters and summer guests who come back year after year. Some go back as far as 15 years never missing a season.
We cannot guarantee you will bag a deer or an elk. And we cannot guarantee that the weather will cooperate with our efforts. However, we can guarantee the best of camp facilities, meals and horses, along with the best effort of our guides even when hunting is slow. This is a guaranteed experience of a lifetime that you will never forget!
Early Rifle Season in White River
In 1959 when Ron Mills first went into the Bob Marshall Wilderness he went with a legendary outfitter named Art Wiekum. He was a packer for Art and was packing hunters in and out of White River. The appeal of the White River country enticed him to make a career of outfitting. Time has brought the Mills family full circle as Mills Wilderness Adventures of Montana sold another early season camp and purchased White River in 1999.
